You might be interested to know that Baby Alpaca fiber is not collected from baby animals, rather it is considered “baby soft,” which is where the fiber gets its name. The alpaca animals that our fiber comes from live in harmony with their native habitat of Peru where they are allowed to openly graze and enjoy their lives in the Andean highlands.

While our Pushmipullewe yarn showcases vivid colors, this non super washed fiber can be somewhat dye resistant compared to our super washed blends because the fiber has been left as natural as possible.
