Story Sets

As both dyers and professional authors, it is fun to play outside of our usual sandbox and explore the strange territory where our passions collide. Hella Good Story Sets are our way of uniting these two worlds into a fun and unique way to celebrate and explore fiber artistry. Each set include a short story written by one of us as well as hand dyed yarn inspired by that particular story. From mystery and science fiction to romance and suspense, there is a little something for everyone in this ongoing collection.

Meet the Authors

Darren Sparks is a pseudonym Devin Hunter uses when he writes fiction.

Devin (Darren) is both a bestselling non-fiction spiritual author and the lead dyer for Hella Good Yarn. In addition to his writing, Devin’s art has been published in multiple books and websites. He is a Cosmo favorited podcast host, and he has been featured by both the AP and on ABC’s To Tell The Truth. When he isn’t writing or dyeing, you can find him teaching workshops around the country, knitting something he probably won’t wear, or working with his favorite non-profit organization.
